May 10, 2019 - Recreating Starfish, by the Pacific in Solana Beach - Read review - " The anniversary tour started a year ago, with a sold-out appearance at the Meltdown Festival in London on the personal invitation of its curator, The Cure’s Robert Smith. Touching down in Solana Beach this week, the band played a lengthy show packed with songs drawn from their 26 album catalogue."

May 3, 2019 - The Regent, Lost Angeles - Read review - "Lead singer/songwriter/guitarist/founder Steve Kilby was in fine form and voice. With his acerbic wit intact, the engaging frontman told a lot of offbeat stories and strange reminiscences from the stage between numbers."

April 29th, 2019 - The Church ‘Starfish’ 30th Anniversary Tour at 3TEN - Read Review - "Lost remains a shimmering beauty, sounding like Purple Rain by way of Pink Floyd, featuring wonderful dual guitar arpeggios from guitarists Peter Koppes and Ian Haug, whose musical interplay was strong throughout, aided by Jeffrey Cain (Remy Zero), who added additional guitar and synth textures throughout the set."

April 23rd, 2019 - The Church rekindle an entire era in Orlando with their 'Starfish' anniversary tour - Read Review - " Because that record was such a standard-bearer of an exceptional chapter of music history, the nostalgia that rang in the hearts of this full house of veteran scenesters was deep, not cheap. Revisiting an old, beloved album is always a nice thing. When the original authors open up a live portal back to that place, however, that's a waking dream."

April 22nd, 2019 - The Church @ Culture Room, Ft. Laughterdale, Florida. - Read Review - "Perched on his drum throne at the rear of the stage, Tim Powles made sure the beat stayed steady and the rhythm flowed. ... Despite time marching on, the band still remains relevant. And whether they play in a great big metropolis or an intimate venue, when The Church put on a concert, everyone wants to attend. "

April 19th 2019 - The Church @ Cats Cradle - Read review - "Each song was well received, and by the time the band wrapped up the set with closing track “Hotel Womb,” the crowd was positively euphoric.  The set proved that Starfish has held up well over the years and remains a timeless classic.  Kilbey and his bandmates announced that they would take a short break and return…  And return they did!  After intermission, the Church hit the stage and proceeded to storm through an additional 12 songs."

April 17th, 2019 - The Church at Rams Head on Stage - Read Review - "Kilbey stated during the set, “You’ve got your rock, you’ve got your roll… you need your fucking and”At the end of the night The Church had delivered two hours of incredible music to an ecstatic crowd. They proved their place in music history and that “Starfish” is still as fresh and emotionally gripping as it was in 1988."
